The Council of the Southern Mountains presents the second annual "Head of the Dragon" motorcycle ride in McDowell County, West Virginia on September 15, 2018. The motorcycle ride will encompass 91 miles of McDowell County two-lane country roads. The "Head of the Dragon" will begin in Welch, West Virginia taking Route 52 to Iaeger, West Virginia taking Route 80 to Bradshaw, West Virginia taking Route 16 to War, West Virginia taking Route 16 to Bishop, West Virginia taking Route 161 to Elkhorn, West Virginia and finally to Route 52 Welch, West Virginia.
VFW Post 1144 Group from Iaeger, West Virginia will be partners and participate in the "Head of the Dragon" motorcycle event September 21, 2019.
Come join many of the motorcycle enthusiasts and be participants in "Head of the Dragon" motorcycle and sports car ride event September 21, 2019.
